White House -Unit E 1 Bdrm Apt

Positive: The decorations were cute. There were a few snacks provided and it was nice having a kitchen and lots of utensils. Location was good. Negative: I am usually not someone to leave a negative review. I usually easily pleased, but do want others booking to be aware. The building itself needs a bit of TLC. Cracks in the bathroom sink, oven overhead light and fan did not work, the dishwasher was not set in the cabinet space so it almost pulled out when opening the door. The comforter had “bodily fluid” looking stains. It was cold and snowy when we stayed and the thermostat was set on A/C at 54 degrees F when we arrived, and the kitchen window was open and damaged. It took a long time to warm it back up. A $99 security deposit is charged for a room that really needs work. We paid the more expensive option for a 1 bedroom apartment with more space. We were instead placed in the studio apartment. I would have not cared, expect there is a big price difference in the two. I brought this to the host’s attention and was blatantly ignored (two other messages of mine were answered, but not that one.)
