The West End Hotel - Contemporary Room with Queen Bed

A memorable and happy place to stay in St. Louis - I hope to come back! Positive: The comfort and delightful staff made us feel truly special. I hope to come back because the location is great for walking to shops. I have suggested to family and friends that they look into staying here. The value is exceptional.

Positive: Perfect location for the Cardinal game the night I arrived and my doc appt at Barnes hospital the following morning. Secure building, friendly staff, good TV options, and complimentary water and popcorn (which I didn't eat). 🤣 Negative: The only staff member that spoke English was the front desk. Everyone else needed to use translate. Figuring out how to navigate the property when I got there was a little confusing, but that could just be me. The room smelled like cleaner, which is good that it is clean, but I feel like they went overboard on the cleaning solution.

Positive: clean. friendly staff. Negative: noisy rooms (thin walls/ceilings, doors dont close completely). entire facility feels more like a college dormitory or hostel than a hotel.

Decent room awesome 👌 hot-tub Positive: I liked that it wasn't far from Amtrak, Walgreens was across the street. The Hot Tub!!!! Negative: A few brochures for folks like me who were from out of town would have been nice. It wasn't an actual "West End Issue" but an Uber one, my rides picked me up and ZIPPED STRAIGHT TO/FROM THE HWY. Until the last day, I was surprised 😮 on the morning I left how close some stuff was....

Ok hotel but nothing really special. Positive: Convenient to downtown and other areas in the city. Negative: It’s just a basic hotel. No frills but just a place to sleep.
